• Energy healing works on an individual’s electromagnetic field which overlays and penetrates the physical body. With focused attention, intention, and connection to higher consciousness, a practitioner can facilitate movement in one’s field—even at a distance—bringing improved flow, and clearing energetic blockages which supports the body’s natural ability to heal.

  • Each session is different but generally includes the following: a discussion to identify the session focus (i.e. the issue you wish to work with) and a guided relaxation practice as I begin the energy healing portion. The session may include additional guided body scans, breathing practices, visualizations, and/or questions to guide you deeper. We will wrap up with a short discussion at the end, including suggestions for practices to support you in your post-session integration process.

  • Sensations in the body, memories, personal insights, emotion, images, deep relaxation, feeling spacey, or even falling asleep. All are quite common but are by no means a full list of what one might experience. It varies from person to person and session to session.

  • These sessions are best-suited for those with some degree of comfort spending time focused inwards on the mind, body, and emotions. Previous experience with meditation, bodywork, and other inward-focused practices can be very useful. These sessions are NOT well-suited for those experiencing severe physical illness, great mental or emotional turmoil, or other crisis situations.   • Some individuals report experiencing deep relaxation, personal insight, stress reduction, greater self-awareness, and personal growth.

  • The process is largely the same though in person, the practitioner might incorporate light touch. I have done many sessions both in person and at a distance and found that both can be equally potent and meaningful. At this time, all sessions are held over Zoom.

  • There is no prep work required though you will want to find a quiet, private location where you may sit or lie comfortably for the length of our session (~75 minutes). I will also ask if there is a particular issue or area of focus you have in mind for the session. It can be helpful to have an area of focus identified though we can always work with whatever arises if you don’t have something more specific.

  • You will be charged the full session fee for any session that is cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice. Exceptions can be made for emergencies; contact me at thesparkwithinenergy@gmail.com to discuss or to reschedule.
